Yes, of course! Please select how many additional nights you’d like to book with us when you make the booking on our website.
Yes, when you make your reservation on our website you can reserve breakfast in advance for a small fee. After you’ve received the confirmation we won’t be able to add the breakfast anymore so please book the service in advance.
When you’ll travel with 3 people you’ll be accommodated on a triple room without any additional cost.
For each destination we have several hotels available which we work with. All the hotels are tested and rated by us to avoid problems for you during your trip. Most of the hotels we book are located in or near the citycentre. In case the hotel is located outside the city centre a convenient transport link will be available.
All the hotels have at least a 3-star standard.
No, transfers are not included in our packages. We recommend you to use the local public transport.
Yes, you can upgrade for a small charge when making your reservation on our website. During the reservation process you’ll be informed about the price and options. Please note it’s only possible to upgrade when making your initial booking. Afterwards we can’t change your hotelaccommodation anymore.
Yes, that’s possible when you’re making the reservation with us on our website. After you’ve received your booking confirmation we can’t add breakfast or other services anymore – so please add that in advance.
When making your booking you’ll have the option to select our seat reservation service to make sure you’ll sit together. On most airlines we can provide that service. However: in some cases you might fly with an airline that works with the ‘free seating concept’. In that case you’ll receive a refund since we don’t know with wich airline you’ll travel when you’re making the booking on our website.
In case of non-emergency situations you can contact us via the contactpage on our website. In case of an emergency when you are at one of our destinations we urgently request you to call the emergency phone line as stated in your booking confirmation. This so we can assist you directly.

We can’t change the destination of your trip, you’ve been booking a surprise citytrip after all .
The booking confirmation you’ll receive from us is definitive and can not be changed. In exceptional cases it might happen that the airline changes it’s schedule or cancels a flight. In that case we’ll contact you to find the best solution for your situation.
When making your reservation with us you’ll be able to select destinations you don’t prefer to visit for a small charge.
You can only exclude a selection of about 20 destinations when making the reservation for your trip with us. This because we’d like to keep the destination a surprise after all since we’re called ‘SurpriseCitytrip.com”.
No, that won’t be possible. After your reservation has been made it can’t be amended anymore.
No, that’s not possible. Once you’ve received your booking confirmation everything in there is definitive and can’t be changed.
You may bring 10 kilogram of handluggage, for the allowed size please refer to your booking confirmation. Additional luggage to be checked in can be purchased when making your reservation with us.
It’s only possible to make a reservation via this website, not over the phone. Please refer to your vouchers to find the correct booking link so we can process your reservation.
Yes, of course! When you depart on Thursday, Friday or Saturday a weekend supplement will be charged for each passenger travelling. You’ll pay the supplement when making your reservation with us. On all the other days of the week no supplement is charged.
Passengers from the age of 16 years old may travel without their parents on a Surprise Citytrip. Passengers younger than 16 year of age must always be joined by a passenger older than 16 years.
Yes, that’s possible. Please state the date of birth after the name of the passenger so we can handle the reservation correctly. There is no reduced children/babies fare available.
No, that’s not possible. You’ll have to pay the fare for at least 2 people travelling.
You may travel with a valid passport or European ID-card. You can not travel with a driverslicence.
On your booking conformation you’ll find the airline you’ll be travelling with.

No, it’s not possible to cancel your trip and then receive a refund of the amount paid.
We do appreciate it if you can inform is when you no longer intend to travel. In that case we can inform the airline and hotel so no delay will be caused for other travellers.
Yes, it is possible to change the name of one or multiple passengers against the name change fee the airline is charging. For further information about that please contact us via e-mail.
Payment on our website is possible with PayPal, Mastercard, Visa and American Express.
Yes, that’s possible for the following matters:
- Preference of beds in hotel.
- To inform us about limitations of your visa (e.g. only travel in Schengen zone).
- In case you’re disabled and need assistance on the airport.
We can’t process special wishes about destinations: destinations you don’t wish to visit are possible to be excluded when making your reservation.
In most cases we’ll be able to handle your booking on one of the preferred dates you put in when making the reservation. In some cases it might happen we do not have packages available from the departure airport selected by you or on the dates you wish to travel. In that case you can either choose an alternative date proposed by us or you can request a full refund.
Due to the huge variation in destinations and hotelaccommodations we can’t guarantee that both of them will be suitable for a disabled traveller. Due to that we do not recommend you to book our packages.
In case of strickes in the airline industry we’ll inform you as soon as we can about the implications for your trip. Together with you we’ll find an alternative solution to get you to your final destination. No refund will be provided in case of strike or weather events since we do not have any influence on such events. For such matter you can contact your own travel insurance.
You will receive your booking confirmation within 7 days after making the reservation on our website. In case of a priority booking you’ll receive the confirmation within 24 hours.
In your booking confirmation you can find the following information:
- Your destination
- Your travel schedule
- The airline you’ll travel with
- Information about your luggage
- Your hotel, all details
- General information about travelling with us
We kindly request you to read all information carefully.
We kindly request you to sent us the details of your travel document at least 14 days before departure via www.surprisecitytrip.com/checkin/. In most cases we will sent you your boarding passes via e-mail 2 days before departure.
It might be you have to check in at the airport: if so this will be stated in your booking confirmation. In that case you will not receive boardingpasses from us.
No, the booking confirmation is all you need.
You will receive all the documents via e-mail.
Before you’re actually going to travel with us you’ll receive the following documents:
- 7 days after reserving: your booking confirmation with all information about your travel schedule, destination and hotel.
- 2 days before departure: boarding passes unless instructed differently in your booking confirmation.
Please print all documents and bring them along your journey to avoid additional cost and fees. Also don’t forget to bring your ID-card or valid Passport.
You’ll receive your boarding passes 2 days before departure in case you’ve provided us with the details of your travel document on time. It might be that you’re flying with an airline for which you’ll have to check in at the airport: in that case please follow the instructions in your booking confirmation.
In case you should have received your boarding passes 2 days before departure and you did not receive them you must contact us on the emergency phone line as stated in your booking confirmation.
When you make your reservation on our website you can buy our seat reservation service. When you decide not to buy a seat reservation you’ll be given random seats on board of the flights: it might be that you don’t sit together in that case.
